| January 2025 | International Security and the Defence Industry in the Age of Disruptive Technologies | The 20th Security Academy was held in a workshop format in collaboration with the International Relations Council (IRC) and Global Academy, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and TEPAV. The event, themed “International Security and the Defence Industry in the Age of Disruptive Technologies”, brought together expert academics as well as representatives from the public and private sectors. Participating in the programme as a panellist, Dr Çağlar Kurç delivered a talk entitled “The Goal of Full Localisation and 100% Nationalisation in the Defence Industry”. |

The fair brought together knowledge, ideas and enjoyable moments across many fields, from international relations to wars, from economics to politics, from diplomacy to geography. |
| December 2025 | AGU POLS Gaming Lab – Ideas in Play Seminar Series | The second session of the Ideas in Play Seminar Series, organised by the AGU POLS Gaming Lab and our department, was held. Following the interactive game session “We Come in Peace”, the seminar hosted Abdurrahim Özer from the Department of History at Bilkent University and explored the beginnings of European colonialism. |
| December 2025 | TED University Centre for Gender Studies – Seminar Series: Building Feminist Bridges in Academia | Assoc. Prof. Dr Armağan Teke Lloyd participated as a speaker in the “Building Feminist Bridges in Academia” Seminar Series organised at TED University by the TED University Centre for Gender Studies, and delivered a seminar titled “Refugeeness and Risk Topographies: Women and Gender-Based Spatial Experiences in Spaces of Forced Migration”. |

Prof. Dr Armağan Teke Lloyd and our research assistants Elcan Tokmak and Fevzi Can Gürüz—was held. A roadmap was established for how the workshop will proceed in the coming period. |

Topics included preparations for the The Hague Summit, co-operation against hybrid threats, policies of support for Ukraine, and Türkiye–NATO relations. |

Prof. Dr Armağan Teke Lloyd participated as a speaker in the Workshop on Labour Supply and Demand in Domestic Care and Care Services held in Istanbul, within the Technical and Scientific Studies of the technical assistance project financed by the Republic of Türkiye and the European Union to enhance the policy-making capacity of the Directorate General of International Labour Force in the field of labour migration. |
