Dr. Çağlar Kurç, a member of staff in our department, participated in the workshop entitled “Strategic Autonomy or Striving for Leadership?”, held in Beirut, Lebanon, and jointly organised by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) MENA Peace and Security Competence Centre and FES Türkiye. Bringing together numerous experts in the field, the workshop focused on Türkiye’s geopolitical role in the Middle East and North Africa. By remaining actively engaged at the international level, Dr Kurç continues to exemplify our department’s vision of generating impact both nationally and internationally. We congratulate him and wish him continued success in his work.
