The 20th Security Academy was held in a workshop format in collaboration with the International Relations Council (IRC) and Global Academy, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and TEPAV. The event, themed “International Security and the Defence Industry in the Age of Disruptive Technologies”, brought together expert academics as well as representatives from the public and private sectors. Participating in the programme as a panellist, Dr Çağlar Kurç delivered a talk entitled “The Goal of Full Localisation and 100% Nationalisation in the Defence Industry”. By continuing to be active internationally, Dr Kurç also continues to set an example of our department’s vision to create national and international impact. We congratulate our colleague and wish him continued success in his work.
